When you make a motorhome only booking a travel contract is established between you and Travelhome.
What personal data does Travelhome process and for what purpose?
For the realisation and execution of the travel agreement Travelhome processes the following data from you:
First name, last name, gender, address, e-mail address, mobile telephone number of the designated driver. Depending on your booking, other data may also be relevant such as insurance details, passport details, details of your fellow travellers and emergency contact details of a person staying at home.
With whom does Travelhome share your personal data?
Travelhome provides your personal data to rental companies for the execution of the travel agreement.
How are your personal data protected?
We are extremely careful with your personal data and comply with the relevant GDPR Regulations. We have taken measures to protect your personal data. Among other things, we have an extensive information security policy, train our employees, use secure internet servers and store your data on a server in Europe, housed in an ISO27001 certified hosting environment.
How long do we keep your data?
Travelhome retains your personal data for as long as it is necessary for processing purposes.
For example, we keep your travel data as long as required for the execution of the trip. Financial data related to your booking is kept for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax legislation.
What are your rights?
If we process personal data about you, you have several privacy rights as specified under the GDPR Regulations. You have the right to access the data we process about you, the right to correct, delete or transfer your data and the right to restrict the processing of your data. Finally, you have the right to object to certain processing of your personal data by Travelhome.
Do you have a request regarding your data?
Please contact Travelhome at service@gotravelhome.com. Travelhome will then verify your identity to ensure that requests concerning your data are legitimate. Typically, you will receive a response within one month. If additional time is required, we will notify you promptly and provide an explanation for the delay.
