Adelaide - Adelaide round trip

Day 1: Adelaide - Kangaroo Island 
You pick up your motorhome in Adelaide and drive to Cape Jervis, where you take the ferry to Kangaroo Island. At Penneshaw, you will follow the paved road to Kingscote.

Day 2: Kangaroo Island
You will have the whole day to explore Kangaroo Island. On this unique island, you will see the Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch rock formations. You will visit Seal Bay Conservation Park, where seals frequently come to the beach. There's also a good chance to observe the island's resident koalas, eagles, wallabies, echidnas, kangaroos, and fairy penguins. 

Day 3: Kangaroo Island
You have one more day to explore Kangaroo Island.

Day 4: Kangaroo Island - Barossa Valley
You will drive back to Penneshaw, where you will take the ferry. From Cape Jervis, you will pass through Hahndorf, a town founded by German emigrants, and travel through the rolling Adelaide Hills to the Barossa Valley.

5th day: Barossa Valley - Clare Valley
A short drive to the Clare Valley, a wine region located further north. You will pass through landscapes reminiscent of the south of France.

Day 6: Clare Valley - Flinders Ranges 
You will follow the highway as much as possible to Port Augusta, where you will turn off towards Hawker and continue on to Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges, where you will stay for 3 nights.

Day 7: Flinders Ranges
You have a full day to explore the Flinders Ranges. Enjoy a walking tour of the magnificent Wilpena Pound. There are also numerous other hiking opportunities and excursions to choose from, such as a scenic drive through the Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges, where you can admire the stunning landscapes and unique wildlife.

Day 8: Flinders Ranges
You have another day for hiking or excursions in the Flinders Ranges. For example, you could visit Arkaroola, a remote wilderness area known for its rugged landscapes, unique wildlife, and scenic 4WD tours.

Day 9: Flinders Ranges - Adelaide 
This is the final day of your self-drive journey. You will drive back to Adelaide and return the motorhome.
