Ayers Rock Tour

Day 1: Alice Springs - Uluru

We recommend picking up your motorhome in the morning at the depot in Alice Springs. After settling into your motorhome, you will travel to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. After arriving here, you will explore Uluru (Ayers Rock). Explore this amazing monolith on a hike. Visit the nearby cultural center. In the evening, enjoy the breathtaking play of colors at sunset.

Day 2: Uluru - Kings Canyon

It's recommended to get an early start and enjoy a spectacular sunrise over Uluru (Ayers Rock). After this, it's off to the Olgas. This area of giant rocks is best explored on a hike through the Valley of the Winds. After exploring the area you will continue to Kings Canyon. 

Day 3: Kings Canyon - Glen Helen

In the morning you get the chance to hike at Kings Canyon, Australia's largest canyon. You will enjoy impressive sandstone domes, sheer rock walls and grandiose views into the canyon. Visit the Amphitheater, Lost City and the Garden of Eden oasis. If you are travelling in a 4WD motorhome, you can continue on the 4WD track of the Mereenie Loop en route to Glen Helen. 

Day 4: Glen Helen - Alice Springs

Another great 4WD drive is to Ormiston Gorge in the Western MacDonnell Ranges. After hiking through the famous gorge, take a refreshing dip in the rock pools. After your 4WD adventure you return to Alice Springs.
